The Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroimmunology Centre launch

The Royal Melbourne Hospital has recently opened its new Neuroimmunology Centre, led by Professor Tomas Kalincik from the Department of Medicine.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is home to Victoria's largest multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology service, providing care for more than 1300 patients.

The new Centre is inspired by large MS centres in Europe, Canada and the US by dedicating 350m2  to this specialist centre on its new premises in Elizabeth Street.

The Centre is home to many Department of Medicine researchers including the CORe Unit, and acts as a node for partners internally and externally including MS Australia, MS Plus, government funding bodies, philanthropy, industry, academic collaborators, donors and sponsors of research.
