RANZCP Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age Conference

Associate Professor Samantha Loi from the Department of Psychiatry convened the RANZCP Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age Conference from 8 – 11 November.

The conference, sponsored by Dementia Support Australia, focused on the theme Ageing in the contemporary era.

The event hosted a new session format aimed at medical students and junior doctors to learn more about the field, including a speed-networking session. The event was well received by all attendees and invited speakers, which included Professor John O’Brien from the University of Cambridge.

Samantha and her team would like to thank everyone involved in the organising committee, and look forward to the 2024 conference to be held in Christchurch.
