High Intensity Headaches

How do we help five million headache sufferers in Australia?
Tissa Wijeratne, Chair, Academic Medicine & Head, Neurology, Western Health believes part of the solution is to pass on the knowledge and expertise from Neurology specialists, by creating a CPD program that equip General Practitioners and Physicians with in-depth knowledge in this field and to promote headache management within their scope. By transferring knowledge to a wider population, sufferers will be treated earlier rather than having to wait for years to months for a specialist care.
Tissa in conjunction with The University of Melbourne Mobile Learning Unit is in the final stages of developing the High Intensity Headaches Education e-learning course. Doctors will have flexibility to study in their own time, pace and location.
