MD Student Conference celebrates 15 years of connection
This year marked the 15th annual MD Student Conference, an inspiring week that brought together more than 1,400 future doctors at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
As the largest student-led event on the Melbourne Medical School calendar, the Conference is a highlight for MD students across all year levels.
Over four days, students engaged in an energising program of keynote speakers, hands-on workshops, research presentations and social events. Designed to mirror the professional development environments students will encounter in their careers, the Conference also provided valuable opportunities for students to connect with peers and academics across the School.
The conference also gives organisers the chance to choose topics that speak to students, often going beyond the traditional medical curriculum to broaden their thinking and perspectives.
