Analysis of antibiotic prescribing by general practitioners for dental conditions in Australia

Project Details

This project will assess the types of dental conditions that present in general practice as well as the types and regimen of antibiotics prescribed for these conditions. Using Patron data, we will analyse the types of dental conditions that present; the antibiotics that are prescribed; and the guideline compliance of these antibiotics. We will also assess the proportion of dental conditions that did not result in an antibiotic prescription.
