Survivorship care and outcomes for women post treatment for endometrial cancer

Project Details

Research shows that after treatment for endometrial cancer, women are more likely to die from pre-existing health issues like obesity, diabetes and heart disease than from cancer returning. This study will examine women's patterns of health service use during the five years before cancer diagnosis, during treatment and during the first three years following completion of surgery and adjuvant treatment.

This project will describe healthcare utilisation patterns and care-seeking behaviours among women with high-intermediate and high-risk endometrial cancer across three timepoints: the five years before diagnosis, during active treatment, and the three years following treatment completion.
