The role of pre-diagnosis and treatment intervals on colorectal cancer outcomes

Project Details

This project will utilise linked primary care data to analyse patient pathway prior to a colorectal cancer diagnosis and during treatment in order to determine relationships between diagnostic and treatment intervals on survival outcomes.  Patron data will specifically support analyses of attendances in primary care, including understanding reasons for encounter, key diagnostic milestones and referrals to specialist care for people who are diagnosed with colorectal cancer.

Project Lead: Dr Allison Drosdowsky
