Gabriel Chan receives 2024 Kate Leslie Research Award

Gabriel Chan is the recipient of the 2024 Kate Leslie Research Award, for the highest mark for an Honours Thesis, for his project 'Phoxilium® As A Phosphate-Sparing Solution for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy in Paracetamol-Induced Acute Liver Failure'.

Gabriel completed his research project at Austin Health and has described his Honours experience with the Department of Critical Care as a wonderful experience.

We wish Gabriel all the best for his future endeavours as he works towards his medical degree at the University of Melbourne.

Also huge thank you to his supervisors Professor Ary Serpa Neto, Dr Caleb Fisher, Professor Rinaldo Bellomo.
