Congratulations to Dr Yasmine Ali Abdelhamid for receiving a highly coveted 2025 Puzey Fellowship

Dr Yasmine Ali Abdelhamid is an intensive care specialist and clinician researcher at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and leads the Department of Critical Care Honours Program.

Dr Ali Abdelhamid has a keen research interest in long-term outcomes following critical illness. She has specific expertise in complex physiological studies of critical illness, clinical trial design, and long-term functional outcome assessment in survivors of critical illness.

This three year fellowship will support Dr Ali Abdelhamid's project "Targeting muscle loss to improve outcome from critical illness".
