Congratulations to Nina Leggett on her NHMRC scholarship

Nina Leggett  has been awarded a 2023 NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship and a grant from the Intensive Care Foundation for her research titled "Digital health to assist recovery after critical care".

Nina is enrolled in a PhD in the Department of Critical Care and her project aims to assess a previous peer support model virtually, where both ICU survivors and health professionals are engaged using the using the innovative method known as "experience based co-design". The project aims to improving post-ICU recovery, via increasing social support.

The results of this study will inform a larger, multi-site randomized study of virtual peer support for ICU survivors.
