Disaster Medicine at the Melbourne Global Centre, Delhi

Our Disaster Medicine team is currently in Delhi, India supported by a Melbourne Global Centre Delhi activity grant. The Centre acts as the University’s hub in India, fostering collaboration, cultural connection, and knowledge exchange across education, research, industry, and the community.

The team is delivering two workshops titled Disaster and Terror Medicine for a Changing World, to over 50 participants. Participants include emergency clinicians, academics and government disaster management personnel from Delhi and other cities such as Mumbai and Lucknow, who have been supported through travel grants.

These workshops present an exciting opportunity to deepen our regional partnerships and expand collaboration across the Asia-Pacific.
