Dr Emily See receives 2024 Jacquot Research Establishment Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr Emily See for receiving the 2024 Jacquot Research Establishment Fellowship of $90,000.

Dr Emily See's project "Improving kidney outcome for critically ill patients with vasodilatory shock through personalised vasopressor therapy", aims to test the effectiveness of a novel vasopressor, angiotensin II, in terms of kidney outcomes prioritised by patients, caregivers, and doctors. The study will investigate the pathways that underlie any benefits and identify differences in responses between patients.

This study has the potential to fundamentally change the management of vasodilatory shock on a global scale, helping millions of patients world wide.
