Lessons from the Northern Summer: Preparing for extreme heat in Victoria

Recent events, including heatwaves and catastrophic wildfires in Europe, North America, and Asia, highlight the urgency of preparing our communities for extreme heat. This seminar will bring together leaders in health and disaster management from the United States and Victoria to discuss current preparedness levels and share insights into the approaches required to tackle the challenging season ahead.
This seminar is hosted by the Department of Critical Care in collaboration with its Disaster and Terror Medicine graduate program, as part of our commitment to enhancing disaster preparedness in our region.
