Telehealth-enhanced patient-oriented recovery after ICU: Results from a pilot study presented by Dr Leanne Boehm, Vanderbilt School of Nursing

This online presentation will describe the aims, methods, feasibility, and quantitative and qualitative findings from the TelePORT pilot study. There will also be time for Q & A.

Bio: Dr Leanne Boehm is an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Her research aims to eliminate delirium, oversedation, and immobilization in intensive care, and maximize the quality of survivorship for patients and family members following critical illness. Her current research is evaluating the efficacy of telemedicine ICU recovery care services and implementation of digital interventions to enhance family engagement and empowerment in the ICU. She is an investigator with the Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction and Survivorship (CIBS) Center at Vanderbilt and faculty with the Vanderbilt Center for Clinical Quality and Implementation Research (CCQIR).
