Join the Victorian ASCERATAIN Study: Your participation matters
You are invited to contribute to the AtheroSclerotic Cardiovascular disEase Risk assessmenT and treAtment In AustraliaN primary care (VICTORION-ASCERTAIN: Implementation Study).
The VICTORION-ASCERTAIN: Implementation Study is a two-arm, multicentre, randomised, open-label study to evaluate the implementation and utility of a new model of care in participants with ASCVD or ASCVD-risk equivalents and elevated LDL-C using a primary care model.
General Practitioners are invited to participate in this study if
- you have an interest in participating in this clinical trial; and
- your medical records are currently being managed by MedicalDirector Software;
- you are able to recruit 30 patients as described below.
Brief Description of participants sought:
This study will include male and female participants ≥18 years of age with a history of ASCVD or ASCVD-risk equivalents who have elevated LDL-C (≥1.8 mmol/L).
Geographic location: Australia-wide, a total of approximately 600 participants will be included in the study across approximately 20 practices.
