Opportunity to contribute to the National Pancreatic Cancer Education Resources

The University of Queensland needs your help to test pancreatic cancer educational resources. $100 gift voucher will be provided as a thank you for your time.

The University of Queensland is inviting general practitioners (GPs) to test an education resource on pancreatic cancer. It  is part of a project commissioned by Cancer Australia that seeks to implement the first two priorities of the National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap.

The educational resource is based on clinical guidance documents that were developed in collaboration with working groups, including a wide range of medical professionals (including GPs).

Testing of the education resource includes completing three steps:

  1. A baseline survey: This survey asks about how confident you are in your knowledge about: (i) surveillance for pancreatic cancer in high-risk patients; and (ii) symptoms of and diagnostic tests for pancreatic cancer.
  1. The education modules: Engage with the education modules, including completing quizzes and activities (please note that there are a couple of links missing and that we intend to include several additional videos by experts, similar to that included for Dr Ben Devereaux).
  1. A second survey: This survey includes the same questions as the baseline survey, and provides space for written feedback. We are particularly interested in what you did/didn't like and your suggestions for improvement. We are also happy to receive this feedback via zoom or telephone, if you would prefer this over written feedback.

Gift voucher: As a token of our appreciation for your time spent in this activity, we will send you an e-gift voucher valued at $100 that can be used at a wide variety of outlets, including in store and online.
