Redefining GP careers: new national study launches
Australian GPs are invited to complete a short survey exploring GP career typologies, looking beyond traditional roles to better understand the diverse range of work GPs do.
The study primarily targets new fellows (up to 10 years post‑fellowship) but welcomes participation from a broader GP cohort.
Participants may also opt into a follow‑up focus group.
This study is funded by a 2026 RACGP Education Research Grant and has University of Queensland ethical approval (2025/HE002350). It is a collaborative project between the University of Queensland, Monash University and the RACGP.
