Do you live in Melbourne, have a cough but are otherwise healthy? We are investigating inflammatory processes involved in an overly sensitive cough reflex and would love for you to take part in our study. All participants will be compensated for their time.
Are You…
- Not a smoker or vaper?
- Currently suffering a cold with a cough?
- Between 18 – 70 years old?
What does the study involve?
You will attend our clinic for 5-6 hours where you will:
- Fill out questionnaires about your cough and other cold symptoms
- Be tested for your cough sensitivity by briefly inhaling vapours that make you cough
- Take an over-the-counter medication (Strepfen intensive lozenge or spray*) and report on any changes in your cough.
