Graduate Primary Care Nursing Student Award - Ms. Tracey Dastey

Tracey Dastey graduated as a nurse in 2007 and works at a busy general practice in Latrobe Valley. Tracey completed the Graduate Diploma in primary care nursing in 2015 with excellent academic results. Tracey is now using the skills learnt through the course to perform a dual role as practice manager and primary care nurse. Since completing the course, Tracey has established nurse-led clinics in diabetes and women’s health; she is an advocate for nurse education and a preceptor for undergraduate nursing students completing placements in the primary care setting.

We offer graduate nursing programs by distance education, specifically for Registered Nurses working in primary care. For more information on the course structure and application process, please refer to the course flyer.
