Professor Meredith Temple-Smith finds benefit in academic exchange and reflection in idyllic setting

Professor Meredith Temple-Smith has recently returned from a two-month writing residency at the prestigious Brocher Foundation on Lake Geneva. The fully-restored historic villa provides accommodation and offices for 8 researchers who are working on some aspect of the legal, ethical and social implications of new medical developments. In addition to meeting the other researchers, who come from every corner of the globe, being close to Geneva offered opportunities to visit the World Health Organisation, and International Red Cross.
