The WiserAD Trial: Antidepressant Deprescribing Trial
Despite COVID-19 delays to recruitment, we are excited to announce that WiserAD is now in practices! OVer the last two months our team comprising of Charné Froneman, Kali Godbee and Zoe Allnutt and Amy Coe have been hard at work and we now have 10 new Victoria GP sites on board with participant recruitment well underway.
WiserAD has been developed to test whether a novel, structured approach to deprescribing antidepressants is more effective in enabling GPs to help primary care patients de-prescribe their antidepressant medication while maintaining their mental health and wellbeing.
