Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to our Spring newsletter. Inside you will find articles on evaluating the impact of co-design and brain fog in menopause, as well as some post event updates and links to some interesting news articles featuring our talented researchers.
I would like to congratulate Prof Kelsey Hegarty on her recent appointment to the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Advisory Council. The Council provides independent advice to government and works with them to develop, implement and monitor action plans under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022 –2032. Kelsey’s experience and expertise in early intervention, health system responses and innovations will be invaluable in driving meaningful change. Congratulations Kelsey!
Secondly, I would like to congratulate A/Prof Justin Tse on his recent appointment as Chair of VCCC Alliance Clinical Education Training Advisory Committee (CETAC). Justin will provide leadership and strategic direction for the CETAC and help them develop a clinical education and training program. Justin’s expertise in evidence based education, multidisciplinary collaboration and workforce development will be a great asset to the committee. Congratulations, Justin!
Finally, congratulations also go to Dr Marita Long on being awarded the inaugural Amy Moten Award for Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. This award recognises Marita’s significant contribution to improving patient experience and outcomes in sexual and reproductive health. Congratulations Marita!
