Development of a sexual and dating violence smartphone app for The University of Melbourne

Funding was received via the Student Services and Amenities Fund to develop the app.

Dr Laura Tarzia, along with Prof Cathy Humphreys (social work), Adam Lodders (MNSI) and Prof Kelsey Hegarty, have received funding via the Student Services and Amenities Fund to develop a sexual and dating violence smartphone app for The University of Melbourne. Laura and her team will work closely with Campus Wellbeing to develop the app, as well as consulting extensively with students to determine their needs and preferences. The smartphone app will align with the work of the University’s Respect Now Always taskforce and contribute towards a more effective response to sexual and dating violence on university campuses.
