MDHS Staff Excellence Awards 2020

Each year the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FMDHS) recognises and celebrates the outstanding work of academic and professional staff in a range of areas including strategic excellence, learning and teaching, research and research training, engagement and professional excellence.

We are delighted to announce three Department of General Practice staff received a FMDHS Staff Excellence Award.  Please join us in congratulating the success of our award recipients.

Professor Meredith Temple-Smith

Recipient of the FMDHS Award for Outstanding Graduate Researcher Supervision for excellence in sustained and inspiring leadership, mentorship and graduate supervision in sexual and reproductive health and qualitative research.

A/Professor Victoria Palmer

Awarded the MDHS Award for Excellence in Engagement – Public Value Award for excellence in the Co-Design Living lab, a lived-experience model for co-design in research, education and healthcare system improvement and transformation.

Dr Asiel Adan Sanchez

Presented the MDHS Award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion for excellence in research, community-based initiatives and advocacy furthering the education of health professionals on LGBTQI health.
