In this article, they share their experience in setting up GP Circle. This is a small, national group of GPs, practice nurses and practice managers who share their experience to improve the development of practice-based research. Topics include cancer prevention, early detection, survivorship and palliative care. Embedding healthcare professionals faces challenges but has provided important input that has improved the quality of research and helped achieve success in funding new research.
