Best poster award at WONCA
The poster reported findings of a systematic review on inadequate follow-up of abnormal test results associated with cervical cancer in primary care.
Results showed that there are over 40 factors associated with inadequate follow up of cervical cancer, while having a tertiary education consistently improved patient follow-up. Most interventions tried in primary care were effective, although all studies were conducted in first-world countries. It was an exciting conference with presenters from over 150 countries across the globe. You can view the poster and the paper here.
