It’s free for academics and postgrads at The University of Melbourne and partner institutions.
An interdisciplinary special interest group (SIG) on Integrative Healthcare has launched for academics and postgraduate students at the University of Melbourne and its partner institutions. Membership is free.
The SIG is for academics and postgrads interested in traditional, complementary and integrative medicine (TCIM) to meet, share knowledge, foster multidisciplinary collaboration and build mutually beneficial relationships to encourage research engagement and continuous learning around TCIM.
Approaches to care that include practices described as holistic, traditional/indigenous-based, complementary, integrative, or lifestyle-based come under the TCIM umbrella.
It is not the purpose of the SIG to champion or be aligned with specific healthcare modalities, or political or religious views. Members do not need to advocate for TCIM, but should be respectfully aligned to meet the aims, objectives and activities of the SIG.
The SIG Steering Committee invite interested persons to join the group by completing an membership enquiry: https://redcap.link/IHC-SIG
