2017 Graduate Student Travel Grant Award Winners

Four DGP Graduate Research Students win travel grants

DGP Graduate Research Students Nicole Iturrieta Guaita, Carol O’Dwyer, Kelvin Lau and Jason Chiang have collectively been awarded more than $3,600 in travel grants. This enabled the students to attend conferences to present their research and gain valuable insights into the research of other investigators in their respective fields. Nicole travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in July to deliver a poster presentation at the STI & HIV World Congress 2017, as featured in the last newsletter. Carol travelled to San Francisco, USA in September to deliver a poster presentation at 2017 National Conference on Health and Domestic Violence (NCHDV). Kelvin travelled to Sydney in July to deliver an oral presentation at the Australian Association for Adolescent Health 2017 Conference.  Jason used his grant to travel to Sydney in late October to deliver an oral presentation at RACGP GP17 conference. Congratulations and well done to all.
