Graduate Diploma/Certificate in Primary Care Nursing

Nurses, do you want to increase your scope of practice and provide comprehensive evidence-based patient care? Completing a diploma or certificate in primary care nursing provides the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to do just that!

Nurses working in rural and remote areas who wish to study a Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Primary Care Nursing now have a new scholarship opportunity.   The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health. Nurses who work at least .6 EFT in an area categorised as MM 3-7 under the Modified Monash Model (MMM) are eligible to apply.  Scholarship payments of up to $10,000 per year for up to two years will be available to support participants for full time or part time studies.
