Data Acquisitions, Clinical Trials, and Technology
Our work is collaborative. Our researchers and technical experts work with partners from government, university, hospitals, industry, healthcare providers and commercial partners to identify and deliver practical capabilities and research. For inquiries and quotes, please Contact Us
Our services also extend to the installation and facilitation of our comprehensive software tools for data collection on your software ecosystems, aiding all aspects from EMR extraction to enabling data storage systems.
GRHANITE incorporates high-level ethical, privacy and security functions to facilitate the transfer of deidentified data to secure researcher destinations, and underpins the success of many research, quality, surveillance and audit projects by decreasing the burden of data collection for the evaluation of clinical and implementations trials.
DATA LINKAGE SOLUTION
GRHANITE uses a privacy-protecting record-linkage system. This enables partnering with organisations such as Burnet Institute, University of Queensland, and BIOGRID, enabling researchers and policy-makers to examine de-identified patients’ journeys across multiple datasets and thereby through broader components of the health system.
DATA CONVERSION AND STORAGE
Our system recognises the high integrity and importance of health data, data encryption and de-identification are the core of our GrHANITE software process. To further protect your data, we offer the option to store processed data within our highly secure data enclave, Patron. Additionally, we provide seamless assistance in delivering your data to your own protected environment, guaranteeing the utmost confidentiality throughout the entire process.
DATA ANALYSIS
After data acquisition, the collected data can be analysed using various techniques and algorithms to extract meaningful insights, identify patterns, or make predictions. This analysis can provide valuable information for decision-making, process optimisation, research, or other purposes.
DATA SUPPORT SYSTEM
We install and support en-premise and cloud based systems. As part of our service introduction for each new site installation, our technical support team run through a comprehensive site check-list, reassuring your IT provider of our obligation to meet critical secure and measured requirements. Our software limits RAM consumption to a minimum with zero compromise. Our support team are available at short notice for any advice or service engagement. Our system has been used for over 15 years in 1000s of systems without incident.
DATA GOVERNANCE, LEGAL & ETHICS FRAMEWORKS
Within the Department of General Practice’s we have the "Data for Decisions" research initiative, that incorporates an independent Data Governance Committee and partners with 140+ general practices to create and manage the Patron primary care data repository. We are experts in cross-sectoral data capture, consent management, and privacy protecting record management. We employ internal best practice policies and procedures in our data warehousing and curation to 'future proof' against risk, and we adhere to all national legislation around privacy and data security. Our active risk mitigation strategies are regularly reviewed.
DATA DRIVEN TOOLS
We have developed a comprehensive suite of software tools, these include;
Decision Support tools - FHT (Future Health Today), developed in collaboration with Western Health and partnered with the Paul Ramsay Foundation. FHT supports the sophisticated triage of at-risk patient populations, with embedded practice quality improvement tools and delivers real-time decision support during GP consultations.
Clinical Trial Safety Monitoring - The actionable point of care dashboard integrated into quality improvement and decision support software to enable the pharmacy workforce to work with GPs to reduce risk of harm, and costs to the health care system, i.e. the ACTMed collaboration with other stakeholders.
