Research Enablers & Surveillance Mechanisms
Data held in the Patron primary care data repository is frequently accessed by approved applicants for epidemiological studies as part of the Department of General Practice’s Data for Decisions research initiative. We have a strong track record for enabling population health disease surveillance using GRHANITE®.
Trial Recruitment
We have produced software for clinical trial recruiting. This software delivers cost savings through accelerated patient recruitment in clinical trials by applying algorithms (developed with industry partners) to patient clinical records to identify targeted eligible patient populations.
Health & Communication Integration Platforms
We have developed iCHAMP (Connecting Health Across Multiple Platforms), enabling developers to connect with healthcare providers and their EMRs/Design Support tools. It uses FHIR and secure messaging with consent and security features. GPs can prescribe apps as interventions and access patient-generated app data to monitor progress and address critical health warnings.
