It’s riverside setting and rich heritage makes it a popular destination for visitors. The region is known for its Port of Echuca complex, including being known as the unofficial Paddle Steamer Capital of Victoria. With its proximity to the Murray River, the region is home to many water activities including fishing, kayaking, houseboating, canoeing, paddleboarding and swimming. Home to a range of restaurants, wineries, distilleries and shops, Echuca is a great place for visitors and locals.

  • Every day can be different, depending on the term the students are undertaking. Students rotate through wards, theatres and specialist and general practice clinics. Students spend time on the various wards with dedicated Clinical Education Facilitators (CEFs) and are integrated into the team working with consultants, registrars and interns. Many of the clinics provide students with the opportunity for one on one consultation with patients. Students also attend tutorials, lectures, seminars, grand rounds and clinical skills sessions.

  • The Rural Health campus provides subsidised, fully furnished, self-catering student accommodation close to the Clinical School.

    Grevillea Street is one house with five bedrooms. The location is comprised of two double rooms with built in robes, two individual rooms with walk in robes and one double room with a walk-in robe and ensuite. The other four rooms share one-bathroom, shared kitchen and living room facilities.
