Teaching and Learning
Sexual Health Across Clinical Contexts (SHACC) is taught with a combination of learning styles. In person (on campus) workshops and tutorials are spread across the topic with the number of days needed to attend onsite between 9 to 10 across the four weeks. Online group learning will be spread across the topic but mainly in weeks 1 & 4.
In person learning will be provided in Parkville for metropolitan students and in Shepparton for all rural students. Rural students who do not normally reside in Shepparton will be supported to attend Shepparton. Timetabling is set to attempt to have rural students attending Shepparton for classes on consecutive days to minimise travel.
Other learning is online and will be directed and self-paced throughout the topic. Students who have not completed SHACC in MD1 will be required to complete 2 online learning modules prior to commencing.
Topic administration changes may require alterations to topic schedules which will be communicated to students as soon as possible.
