The Henry and Rachael Ackman Travelling Scholarship is offered to outstanding candidates to assist with travel expenses to attend conferences or conduct research.

We are vey happy to announce the awardees of the 2026 Henry & Rachael Ackman Travelling Scholarship:

Graduate Research - Dr Mojtaba Moradi, Dr Su Jen Chua & Aisyah Shamsuddin

Early Career Researchers - Dr Natasha De Alwis & Dr Lucy Bartho

The late Emanuel Percy Ackman, bequeathed to the University in 1965, the income of his residuary estate in perpetuity 'in the foundation of Travelling Scholarships in Medicine and Architecture’ to be known as ‘The Henry and Rachael Ackman Travelling Scholarships’ and in the foundation of Lectures to be known as ‘The Minnie Ackman Lectures’.
