Research Symposium Student Awards 2025

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health held its inaugural Research Symposium on Friday 5 December 2025 at the Carrillo Gantner Theatre.

The Graduate Research students were selected by the Research & Research Strategy Committee in a random selection draw to present 7 Three Minute Thesis Talks and 6 Final Year Talks.

Thank you to the 3MT presenters Maya Robertson, Dorcas Serwaa, Mahnaz Sharifi, Madhura Jayasingam, Dr Samantha Mooney Dr Monica McGauran and Laura Harbinson and to the Final year GR Talk presenters Georgia Wong, Sarvenaz Sabourirad, Michaela Sacco, Alexandra Roddy Mitchell, Varnika Aggarwal and Dr Debjyoti Karmakar. All the presenters made it a special day celebrating research in our Department.
