Congratulations to the winners of this year’s first 3MT session!
3MT is a professional and highly engaging international competition that challenges graduate researchers to present their research in appropriate language to an intelligent but non-specialist audience in the space of three minutes.

Eleven graduate researchers presented their research during the RCH Grand Rounds session on 21st May. Competition was strong with presenters showcasing the variety of research conducted on the Melbourne Children’s Campus.
Presenting a 3MT is an essential part of completing a graduate research degree through the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics as it teaches candidates to hone their ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly and to present in front of a large audience. We congratulate all competitors for stepping out of their comfort zone and presenting an engaging 3MT!
