Thesis Title: Improving mental health outcomes for young trans and gender diverse people using participatory research

Thesis Summary: This PhD developed and investigated a novel mental health intervention for trans young people. Based on this work, this intervention is now being formally assessed via an Australia-wide randomised controlled trial. More broadly, this PhD highlighted the critical importance of working with community members to develop mental health interventions.
