Thesis Title: Analysis methods for ordinal data and proportional odds models in clinical trials

Thesis Summary: This thesis focussed on the analysis of ordinal outcomes in clinical trials and found that current use and reporting is often inadequate. The findings from this thesis highlights the need for more flexible statistical approaches and clearer reporting to improve the accuracy and reproducibility of trial results.
