Thesis Title: Exploring, and creating opportunities to change how service providers think, talk about, and approach childhood disability

Thesis Summary: The aim of this PhD research was to explore and contribute to changing the way service providers working with children and families think, talk about, and approach childhood-onset disability. This doctoral research program involved three studies (i) a scoping review of professional development programs targeting family-centred service, (ii) an exploration of the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of SPs working in childhood disability, and (iii) co-designing and evaluating the impact of a professional development program for SPs investigated attitudes, knowledge and behaviours of professionals working with children with a disability and their families.
