Thesis Title: Unravelling the genetic cause of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency

Thesis Summary: 

I discovered new genetic causes of premature ovarian insufficiency through diverse functional studies, including Drosophila and mouse models, as well as patient specimens and cell lines. My research determined the impact of human genetic variants on ovarian development and function, providing a greater understanding of ovarian pathology and enabling future patient diagnoses.
