2025 ANZ ISMRM in Melbourne

Ultra-High Field MRI Roundtable on Friday 21^st November 2025, held at the University of Melbourne’s Woodward Centre. This event followed the ISMRM ANZ Chapter meeting on 19-20^th November, also hosted at University of Melbourne.

The event was organised by the Melbourne Brain Centre Imaging Unit (MBCIU) in collaboration with colleagues from Lund University, Sweden—Dr Karin Markenroth Bloch and Dr René In ’t Zandt—with strong support from the National Imaging Facility and Siemens Healthineers Australia.

The Roundtable brought together approximately 50 invited leaders in UHF MRI from Australia and abroad, including Dr Nicolas Boulant (CEA NeuroSpin), Dr David Feinberg (UC Berkeley), and Dr Jon Cleary (King’s College London).

This dedicated forum provided an opportunity to discuss the future of UHF MRI, including emerging clinical and fundamental research applications, operational considerations for UHF MRI facilities, industry partnerships, and new avenues for collaboration across the research, clinical, and technology communities.
