International Women's Day webinar by Maxine McKew 'Are we there yet?'

The University of Melbourne, Department of Rural Health held a public webinar by Professor Maxine McKew on International Women's Day ' Are we there yet? - a 2nd wave feminist looks at the balance sheet'.

Professor Maxine McKew

Maxine McKew is an Hon Enterprise Professor at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne.

Maxine's background traverses both journalism and politics. In her time, she’s broken through a few barriers, most notably in 2007 when she became the first woman in Australian political history to beat a sitting prime minister in the federal seat of Bennelong.
