Building Personal and Community Resilience in the Face of COVID-19 – What are the lessons from COVID-19 and how can we use them to build a better future?

The University of Melbourne, Department of Rural Health recently held a webinar by Professor Brock Bastian.

Brock is a Professor in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne. He is trained as a social psychologist and his research broadly focuses on the topics of ethics and well-being.

Professor Brock Bastian provided a review of his research on the role of pain and adversity in building personal and community resilience, and provided strategies that each of us can use during COVID-19 to lean into difficult experiences, allowing the possibility of connection, meaning, and growth.
