Mongolian National University Medical Sciences visit to Clinical Skills Lab

On Wednesday 2 April a team of delegates from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) visited the Goulburn Valley Health and University of Melbourne’s Clinical Skills Lab in Shepparton.

The delegation included Enkhtur Yadamsuren, Chief Executive Officer at Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, Ganbold Lundeg, Head of Department at Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, and Dr Amanda Baric, Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

The visit included a tour of the Clinical Skills Lab and the opportunity to observe the University of Melbourne’s Department of Rural Health 2nd year students through a 45-minute clinical simulation.

These insights from this visit will assist MNUMS in implementing clinical simulations in their teaching and learning practices.
