Research Week: Implementation Science in Rural Health

To celebrate Research Week in September, Northeast Health in collaboration with the University of Melbourne Rural Health Academic Network (RHAN) presented a webinar on Wednesday 7 September with Associate Professor Stephanie Best, Senior Research Lead at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Associate Professor Stephanie Best is a health services researcher working in implementation science. She has an extensive international clinical and health care management background as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Associate Professor Best has more than a decade of research experience in implementation, working with a wide range of health and social care practitioners and other stakeholders. She is the senior research lead – implementation science at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and Australian Genomics. She has a track record of designing and delivering national and state-wide projects and experience of working (and researching) in rural communities in Wales, UK.
