Rural Clinical School Graduation 2025

The Rural Clinical School graduation celebration was held on Friday 24 October, celebrating the Class of 2025.

The Rural Clinical School's Doctor of Medicine 'Class of 2025' at the graduation celebration in October.

The graduation dinner gives final year medical students an opportunity to celebrate the end of their degree with their fellow classmates and nearest and dearest.

This year’s graduation includes our first cohort of the end-to-end Doctor of Medicine (Rural Pathway) program.

Of our 36 graduating students this year, 23 have come through our end-to-end program, the remaining 13 joined the Rural Clinical School from second year onwards.

Below are the awards presented on the night:

Valedictorian – Abigail Rowe

The Rural Clinical School’s recognition of a student with academic excellence and community contributions throughout their studies.

Rural Communities Award – Srishti Chatterji and David van der Heide

The Rural Communities Award is awarded to students who have demonstrated the highest commitment to Rural Health and Community Service and/or commitment to Rural Health Practice. 

Professionalism Award – Brittany Hogan

The Rural Clinical School’s Prize for Professionalism is awarded to the student who best demonstrates professionalism as a duty of care for patients, colleagues and self.

It was a wonderful night celebrating the Class of 2025 on their achievements and we wish them the very best as they begin their medical careers.
