Western Precinct Collaboration Success
Kate Choi and Kamol Kin, two final year medical students have recently had their systematic review on Body Composition and it's association with chemotherapy toxicities in patients with colorectal cancer accepted in the ANZJSurg, a major academic surgical journal in Australia.
Kate and Kamol, both who have recently completed their MD course at Western Clinical School and will be returning to Western Health to start their internship, started their academic mentorship during their MDRS course with Professor Justin Yeung and the Department of Surgery, Western Precinct.
They have both shown that through collaboration and hard work, the ability to publish a significant paper on an important topic is always possible, even as a medical student. Congratulations to them both!
