SSSM Robotics in Surgery Poster Competition Presentation Night 2026!

SSSM proudly presents our yearly poster competition, sponsored by the Department of Surgery. This year's topic is: Evolving Hands: Robotics in Surgery.

Joining us are A/Prof Helen Mohan, Consultant Surgical Oncologist, Robotic and Colorectal Surgeon at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Austin Health; Prof Justin Yeung, Professor of Surgery and Chair of Surgery, Western Precinct; and Prof David Ackland, Deputy Head of Department (Research), Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne. Together, they bring expertise across robotic surgery, colorectal surgery, surgical innovation, biomedical engineering and orthopaedic biomechanics, and we’re grateful to have them judging this year’s student presentations.
