Dean’s Innovation Award Winner 2022

Congratulations! Ms Doris Cao, Department of Surgery, Western Precinct

Ms Doris Cao, Research Fellow with the Department of Surgery, Western Precinct has been a recent recipient of the University of Melbourne, Dean’s innovation Award 2022.

Doris’s research is on the utilisation of Artificial Intelligence in the identification of colorectal cancer patients having chemotherapy, who are at risk of developing life threatening toxicities, using data from patient CT scans.

Doris will continue her exciting research at Western Health, with the supervision of Associate Professor Justin Yeung and Professor Paul Baird.
