Fulbright Scholar Success

Congratulations to Marlon Perera, a urology surgeon and PhD candidate in the Department of Surgery, who was recently awarded a Fulbright Future Scholarship.

Marlon has an interest in uro-oncology and minimally invasive and robotic surgery. As a Fulbright scholar, Marlon will spend his time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York to progress continuing research in prostate cancer imaging.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship foreign exchange scholarship program of the United States of America, aimed at increasing binational research collaboration, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas.
